Our towing service operates between Townsville, Ayr, Charters Towers & Ingham. We can tow cars sized up to a large 4WD (4.5 tonne). Our towing service operates 7am-6pm Monday-Friday, and by appointment on the weekends.


While we can certainly tow your car to wherever it needs to go, at Castle Towing & Mechanical, we don't just care about a quick tow. We want to get you back on the road, driving away asap in a safe and reliable car. We can tow you to our Garbutt workshop to repair your car with our quick, professional mechanical services.

How does it work?

1. Contact Us
If you require an emergency tow between 7am-6pm Monday-Friday, call us on 0457 816 890. If you require non-emergency towing, you can also submit an online request.


2. Provide Details
Give us your location, the type of vehicle, and the service you need. Our friendly customer service team will guide you through the process.


3. Get Assistance
A tow truck will be dispatched to your location promptly. Our professional driver will provide the necessary assistance and ensure your vehicle is handled safely.


4. Reach Your Destination
We’ll tow your vehicle to your chosen destination, whether it’s our Townsville mechanical workshop for repair, your home, or a storage facility.

  • Where & when do you operate towing services?

    From Monday-Friday 7am-6pm, our towing service operates between Townsville, Charters Towers, Ayr & Ingham.  


    Non-emergency towing is also available on the weekends (by appointment). Please contact us to book. 

  • My car is being towed to your mechanical workshop. What happens now?

    We will assess your vehicle asap and get in touch with you with required work and an estimate to get you back on the road, as quick as possible!

  • How much does a tow cost?

    The cost of a tow depends on several factors such as the distance to be towed and the type of tow required. Please contact us for a quote.

  • What types of vehicles do you tow?

    We tow a wide variety of vehicles including cars, motorcycles, 4WDs, and commercial vehicles - up to 4.5 tonne. We can also tow heavy machinery and equipment. Please get in touch with your requirements.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards. We also offer Zip Pay, Afterpay, Hum, Ampol & Latitude Pay. We can even offer 0% interest free finance if required.
